Hala Omar

Hala is an Articling Student at Rashidy & Associates where she mainly handles Family Law and Civil Litigation files.

Hala graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School in spring of 2024 with a Juris Doctor degree. She received her Honours Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto, specializing in Digital Enterprise Management and has a certificate in Media & Communications from Sheridan College.

During law school Hala was the Co-President of Canada's largest Muslim Law Students' Association where she spearheaded several initiatives in collaboration with the Canadian Muslim Lawyers' Association and the National Council for Canadian Muslims. Her dedication to access to justice and spotlighting members of underrepresented communities can be seen through her extensive community involvement before, during, and after law school.

Hala is also fluent in Arabic, English and French enabling her to serve a wide range of clients of diverse backgrounds.

Outside of her studies and legal pursuits, Hala is all about media, the arts, and content creation. She loves photography, playing musical instruments, and video-editing.
